Before Surgery

Our staff will call you before surgery to give you pre-operative instructions and review your health history and medications.

If you develop an illness prior to surgery, such as a cold, fever, persistent cough, or rash, please notify your surgeon immediately.

The night before your surgery, do not eat or drink anything AFTER MIDNIGHT. This includes water, gum, cigarettes, or hard candy. Please follow any special instructions your surgeon may have given you. Failure to follow these instructions may result in cancellation of your surgery.

Tell your surgeon if you take any blood thinners or aspirin. Please do not take any medications after midnight, unless instructed by  your surgeon or the nurse at our center.

For pain procedures, please take your daily blood pressure medications, but no other medications, unless approved by your doctor.

Make sure that you have a responsible adult to drive you home and remain with you for 24 hours after surgery. You will NOT be able to drive yourself home from the surgery center.

Patient Testimonial

WOW!! From start to finish, JUST WOW!!!
I must admit I was super nervous for the 3rd of 3 procedures that I had to have and from the very, VERY beginning I can happily say I am at about 65% pain free.

The team here ALWAYS make sure that I am at my most comfortable, even joking with me to calm me down. It’s not every clinical staff that will take the time to make you feel like their BFF.
